As planned No running for me this week apart from with
clients and after a cycle into Centennial Park first up I headed into town for
an easy 6ks in total at Hoeylike 6 min/ks – perfect.
Saw a big team head out for the HuRTS lunchtime session
before returning home depressed.
Totally left devastated with the overnight news. Don’t be
worrying about the Syrian Refugees, ‘Spiderman Boy’ William Tyrell still
missing, or even the sad lose of iconic racing figure ‘Mr. Melbourne Cup’ Bart
Cummings the one that got me is my High 5 girl Lauren Brant being romantically
linked to some second rate Aussie footballer. All this after I thought we may
have had something going after our little ‘City Mile Dash’ get together.
Still these things are there to test us and it’s another speed
hump to get over as the little Stoke battler battles on against all odds.
