Armed with my NEW Mizuno Sayonara won from the recent ‘City
Mile Dash’ I ventured into town for an easy lunchtime trot. Helped a client first up for a 5k PB around
Farm Cove before catching up with ‘Chairman’ Tommy H for his first run back since
his dodgy Hammy that has prevented him from running since City to Surf some 5
weeks back.
Gentle pace with some other new Eastside lad – Andy before
we were joined soon after by Kanser who then proceeded to question many HuRTS runners race times over the past 9
months, And even if you’ve travelled all around the world recently you weren’t excluded
in his rant.
Got around to the Passenger Terminal before Tommy started to
waiver so we turned and headed back, picked up Hoey around Mrs. Macs for the final
couple of ks.
10ks all up averaging 4.46s and great to see The Chairman back
out with us, he may be on the slide (running wise) and been a little depressed
of late but he was ‘cock a hoop’ today due to him being ‘Top of the League’ in
our English Premiership tipping Comp. There has been loads of upsets so far
early in the season……. Thus the reason why he’s top in my eyes. Obviously has
no idea who he’s picking.
Anyway as he’s top he’s not been shy in telling everyone,
even putting a snapshot of the league on his blog………. Well as least his TWO
readers get to see it that way.
May take the day off again tomorrow and get back into it on
the weekend. Have a massage booked tomorrow so hopefully that helps as I’m
feeling tight all over and feel as I’ve knots everywhere that need ironing out.
